Predicting Patient Compliance in Orthodontic Treatment

This article reviews the current knowledge regarding prediction of patient compliance during orthodontic treatment. Relevant literature dealing with this and other related aspects of patient compliance is discussed, and an attempt is made to structure and summarize available information. The multifacetted nature of this issue is emphasized, existing controversies highlighted, and where appropriate, practical suggestions are made. (Semin Orthod 2000;6:231-236.) Copyright© 2000 by W.B.
